At Laso, we believe your health data is yours — not ours, not advertisers’, not anyone else’s. We’re here to help you understand your body, advocate for your care, and feel more in control of your health story. Not to profit off it. We built Laso because we’ve lived through the frustration. And we know that trust isn’t earned by default. It’s earned by design.

Our Privacy Promise

  • We never sell or rent your data.

  • We never share your information with third parties for advertising or monetization.

  • We only use your data to improve Laso to provide better care: with your permission and with your privacy and anonymity protected.

How is Laso different?

Laso learns through lived experience.

Your symptom entries (voice or typed) help us train Laso to better understand real-world health language: fatigue, flares, fog, nuance. By contributing your logs (de-identified and never linked to your name), you’re helping build a smarter, more compassionate health companion for people like you.

Every log teaches our AI to listen better, to analyze patterns and symptoms better, and to provide you with smarter and more accurate insights about your health. Our hope and mission is that this will help the underserved community of those managing complex and chronic illnesses by providing clarity and a stronger voice to advocate for their health.


By default, logs are used to improve Laso’s AI. You can turn this off anytime within the app.

Why AI needs real people

We don’t believe in building AI in a vacuum.

We believe in building it with you — people navigating chronic, invisible, or misunderstood illnesses.

Because only real stories can teach Laso how to recognize real symptoms.

And only real trust will help us build something that actually helps.

You’re always in control

  • Want your data to stay local? You can turn off AI training in your Settings > Data Privacy section.

  • Want to delete all your logs? You can do that in one click.

  • Want to review, export, or edit your entries? Go for it! They’re yours.

We make it easy, because it should be.

Voice Recording & Biometric Security Policy

Laso uses voice input to improve accessibility and ease of use for people navigating complex health needs. Here's how we handle voice data with care:

  • Voice recordings are not stored indefinitely. Once your input is transcribed and structured, the raw audio is deleted unless you have opted in to help improve Laso.

  • Voice data is never used for biometric identification. Laso does not analyze, fingerprint, or retain your voiceprint for user recognition.

  • Your voice logs are de-identified. If used to improve our AI model, they are anonymized and stripped of any identifying content.

You can review, delete, or export any voice logs within your account at any time.

Trust isn’t a checkbox. It’s a relationship.
